This is your view from the chalet – Loch Beag and the stunning 100 meter vertical cliffs of Rubha nan Clach. Kayak anyone?

You are more than welcome to walk around in our evolving garden, adjacent to the chalet. Getting in and out is easy, since parking is next to the house.

You have perfect views of our garden and the Amar river where it flows into the sea, creating feeding grounds for countless bird species, otters, mink and more.

Can you spot the chalet on the other side? A flat road takes you up the glen to a small waterfall.

A short walk up the glen from the house will take you to the spring of the Amar river and a small waterfall (if it has rained – just kidding, this is Scotland).
Dun beag Broch
Less than a mile from the house you’ll find Dun Beag Broch which is a well preserved iron age ruin. From here you have excellent views of the island.

A fully equipped kitchen with oven, microoven, induction hub and dishwasher makes it easy to cook your own meals. Enjoy it at the dining table or take it out on the terrace. To get you going, we provide a starter pack with basic necessities.

Enjoy the panoramic view of Loch Beag from teh comfort of the recliner and setee. Watch the wildlife through the provided binoculars and spot birds and maybe the otters.

Wildlife around the chalet

The Misty Isle lives up to it’s name and sheep have never looked this beautiful!

Several golden eagles have their hunting grounds around the chalet, some of which seem to really enjoy the terrace.
