Frequently asked questions (faq)

What is the rental price and do you have discounts?
What facilities do you offer?

Please have a look at the complete list of amenities and facilites.

Is there a minimum and/or maximum stay?

Minimum stay is 5 nights, maximum stay is 14 nights.

Can we check-in outside of usual hours?

Yes of course you can 😉 Please arrange with us beforehand. Normal check in is 3pm-7pm and check out 10am.

Can we bring children and/or pets?

Unfortunately we can not accomodate children, including infants, or pets of any kind. This is an adults only rental.

Is there mobile and internet support?

Yes, but be aware that signals occasionally can be a bit unstable because you’re in a rural area. Internet speed is fine (streaming tv works), but again, we cannot fully guarantee a working connection all the time, although we’ve had no complaints.

Can I charge my electrical car at your place?

No – we only have domestic power supply not safe for charging eletric cars and it’s not permitted.
Nearest charging station is 20 minutes drive in Portree.

Is smoking or vaping allowed?

No, neither inside nor outside on the premises. This is a stricly no-smoking and no-vaping rental.

Is there wheelchair access?

No, this is a rural area with pebbled pathways and steps to the front door, not suitable for wheelchairs.
Although the house itself has no stairs and doorsteps inside, neither the bathroom nor the kitchen are laid out to accommodate for wheelchair access.
