View of the causeway cabin with parkway and garden. — You are more than welcome to walk around in our evolving garden, adjacent to the chalet. Getting in and out is easy, since parking is next to the house.

View of teh Amar river — A short walk up the glen from the house will take you to the spring of the Amar river and a small waterfall (if it has rained – just kidding, this is Scotland).

Dun beag Broch — Less than a mile from the house you’ll find Dun Beag Broch which is a well preserved iron age ruin. From here you have excellent views of the island.

Fully equipped kitchen — A fully equipped kitchen with oven, microoven, induction hub and dishwasher makes it easy to cook your own meals. Enjoy it at the dining table or take it out on the terrace. To get you going, we provide a starter pack with basic necessities.

Living room with full panoramic windows and ocean view. — Enjoy the panoramic view of Loch Beag from teh comfort of the recliner and setee. Watch the wildlife through the provided binoculars and spot birds and maybe the otters.

Living room with tv and electric fireplace and view of thehallway — A modern TV with freetv and apps is ready to connect you to current events or just stream your favorite movie while the eletric fireplace creates a nice, cozy atmosphere.

Lvingroom with full view of Loch Baeg in winter — Stunning in winter – relax indoors with a hot chocolate and marvel at the scenery and maybe catch northern lights.

Dirty or wet clothes won’t spoil your next days adventure. Just use the washer and tumble dryer in the utillity room.

A big frigde/freezer makes you fully self reliant and shopping is only a 20 minutes drive away.

Wildlife around the chalet

Sheep grasing at the shores of Amar river in front of the causeway and misty mountains in the background — The Misty Isle lives up to it’s name and sheep have never looked this beautiful!

Sea hawk sitting on the terrace — Several golden eagles have their hunting grounds around the chalet, some of which seem to really enjoy the terrace.

Hedgehog — Beware of the mighty hedgehog….they live in our garden.

Heron — Herons are constantly hunting for small fish.
